Keeping on top of your dental health
Here at the Lion Dental Centre, we take a preventive approach to treatment and like to encourage our patients from the Stourbridge community and beyond to stay on top of their dental health by attending a regular examination twice a year.
Research has found that patients who visit the dentist regularly are more likely to need fewer fillings because problems are caught early. They also suffer from less dental decay due to regular examinations and a decreased chance of experiencing toothache, as well as more attractive teeth, stronger gums and fresher breath.
We like all of our patients feel relaxed each time they visit our practice for regular examinations. This is why we ensure you are seen by the same dentist and hygienist each time. Seeing a familiar face is reassuring, it builds trust and helps us to get to know you better.
Our standard examinations take 20 minutes, during which time your dentist will check for early signs of tooth decay, assess gum health and routinely screen for oral cancer.
