Restoring teeth to boost self-esteem
Teeth are really important. They help us eat, chew and digest our food as well as helping us to talk and pronounce our words. They give our face its shape and healthy teeth look great when we smile. If your teeth are weak, broken or missing, it can affect your confidence and your general wellbeing.
The Lion Dental Centre’s team of professionals works together to offer you a range of treatments that will restore the function of your teeth and create stunning, healthy smiles – something our patients from across Kidderminster, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Wolverhampton, Dudley and beyond are delighted to show off.
Feel good, smile with confidence
If you have lost a tooth there are three solutions to fill the gap: dental implants, crowns or a fixed bridge. Depending on the problem, where it resides in your mouth, your lifestyle, budget and potential anxiety towards dental treatment, we will find a solution that puts you at ease and restores your function and your smile.
Why should I replace missing teeth?
You should replace missing teeth for a number of reasons. Firstly, you may notice a lack of function after losing a tooth, find you can’t chew properly or your food gets lost in the space between your teeth. Secondly, it may be a simple case of appearance. Few people would be prepared to have a gap at the front of their mouths. A missing tooth can mean greater strain being put on teeth either side of the gap – this could lead to problems with those teeth eventually.
Will treatment hurt?
All treatment is carried out under a local anesthetic making the area numb. Dental implant treatment is a minor surgical procedure that has been performed for many years, with excellent success rates.
What if I feel nervous?
We understand that some people don’t like coming to the dentist, especially to have complex treatment. We do everything we can to ensure that our patients are made to feel at ease, and that they’re in safe hands. Our purpose-built practice has been specifically designed for patient comfort, creating a welcoming ambience that will help to alleviate feelings of anxiety.
How do I look after my new teeth?
It’s important you look after your new teeth in the same way as natural teeth, by sticking to a good daily oral routine and attending regular appointments with our hygienists.
How much does restorative treatment cost?
Everyone is different, and the treatment we use to restore your teeth to their best will depend on your situation. Once we’ve assessed your teeth we can give you a detailed treatment plan including fees. Crowns start from £400, bridges £450, and implants £2250.
