Your journey starts with a FREE Invisalign consultation at our dental practice in Stafford. You can visit our contact page or call us to book yours, and a member of our team will be in touch to arrange your smile assessment and send you a welcome email to confirm your appointment. During your initial assessment you will be asked to complete some forms, and then you are encouraged to ask any questions that you might have about your treatment. Our dentist will then take images of your teeth and discuss your goals for the end of your treatment.
The next step is to send records of your teeth to Invisalign to create your custom aligners. In order to do this we would take an intra-oral scan (no messy impressions!) which takes 5-10 minutes. We then take a full mouth x-ray. All of this can be done on site, and the fee for this is £350.
A week later your Invisalign treatment plan should be ready. At this point you should return to our clinic in Stafford and we will go through your plan, including showing you the predicted end result. You can also discuss your finance options at this point with our team.
When you are ready to start your treatment and the finance is in order, your clear aligners will be ordered. They should take around two weeks to arrive and then you are ready to go! Your dentist will spend some time going through the proper way to use and clean the aligners. When you leave our Stafford dental practice you will have your first three aligners and a goody bag to help you start your Invisalign journey. You will change your aligners yourself at home every 2 weeks, and our team will give you a call to check up on you after one week.
Up next is your FREE Teeth Whitening! After 4 weeks of treatment we will see you again and supply you with 4 syringes of whitening gel and explain the process to you so you can start your teeth whitening at home.
From then on your Invisalign specialist will see you every 6-8 weeks to keep monitoring your treatment progress and answer any questions or concerns you might have.
At the end of your treatment we will assess whether any further improvements are needed (These are free of charge in most cases). We can also discuss any other cosmetic treatments such as fillings or dental crowns at this point if they are needed and you will be referred to one of our highly experienced dentists to complete that work for you.
Congratulations, you now should have beautiful aligned teeth and a brighter, whiter smile! Now it’s time to order your retainers to keep your teeth from shifting back to their old position. Your specialist will outline how to use your retainers and recommend how long you should wear them for.
