Initial consultation

Our implant assessment is a chance to meet your Implantologist and talk about what results you’d like from the treatment. We can also get an idea of the state of your oral health and will be able to confirm whether you’re suitable for the tooth implant treatment.

Treatment plan

Before we can develop your tailored dental implants treatment plan, we’ll need to take a closer look at your mouth, teeth, and gums – so will perform X-rays and a CT scan, as needed.

Treatment

If you’re suitable for tooth implants, we’ll then book you in for an appointment. This involves making a small incision in the gum, inserting a metal post, and, at a future date when healed, placing the crown.

Aftercare

There are two stages to your aftercare. The first is following placement of the post and is to do with healing, while the second is following placement of the crown, and is about ensuring your new dental implants stand the test of time. At both stages, we’ll give you detailed information about how to care for your new tooth implants.
